Human: Need arises occasionally to utilize a power supply, but unfortunately the only available option is an aging ATX PSU that stubbornly refuses to start without some clever tricks up one's sleeve and Molex connectors on hand, assuming all-out hacking of wires isn't the answer here. Enter this tiny box, designed specifically for those situations when ATX 1.0 compatible power supplies must be repurposed elsewhere. Limitations inherent in this version revolve around the +12V wire from the PSU; caution is urged against overloading it. Listed requirements comprise: ATX 1.0 connector salvaged from an old motherboard A suitable switch capable of accommodating 13x20 holes (a 12x20 configuration will suffice) 5mm LED, along with a matching resistor rated for 5V (specifically, 1k) Four banana connectors adapted for mounting via 5mm screw holes Four screws sourced from a disassembled printer or alternative location
