ATX Power Supply Caddy
thingiverse
This is an adapter for an older PC ATX power supply unit. I required a robust 12V power source and discovered an old ATX unit that would suffice. The power supply fits precisely into the hole, then presses down to be secured by a lip, allowing the wires from the power supply to remain intact and tucked above it. The original power supply was outdated, so this adapter will require modification for use with newer style power supplies, as my air flow is front-to-back, whereas new ones have side-to-top airflow. It took an extended period of time to print, and the layer shift visible in mine resulted from hitting something during printing - it's not part of the design. I made a minor error with the positioning of the cutouts for the power leads (rear lip), but it still fits adequately. To accommodate a 20x20cm build platform, I had to rotate the model 45 degrees just to make it fit.
