ATX Cable Combs
thingiverse
I designed and built cable extensions for my PC to save money on combs, so I created them myself. The ones I found on Thingiverse were too fragile, in my opinion, so I made my own from scratch. The holes are approximately 4mm in diameter, which allows for a snug fit of 3mm cables, but you may need to push them through the opening slightly. The combs and spacers between them are quite wide, resulting in more separation between wires than before, but I prefer this look. If you require a customized version of these cable extensions, feel free to send me a message here or at jackstonelp86@gmail.com, and I'll provide you with the source files. If you're inexperienced with CAD software, I'd be happy to modify the files myself or send them your way. I specifically designed an 8+4 pin connector for the new second EPS port, which currently features a 10mm spacer. If you need a custom spacer size, simply let me know and I'll add it to the design. For now, this project is marked as "Work in Progress" since I haven't printed the cable extensions yet, but they should be ready within the next couple of days. Please keep in mind the licensing terms when modifying or working with these files. While I'm more than happy for people to use my work, I do ask that you refrain from profiting off of it without permission.
