ATX Bench Power Breakout Enclosure
thingiverse
This is an enclosure for a bench power supply utilizing an ATX power supply from a PC as its source of power, based on the project right here. The fundamental concept revolves around building this box, then linking a spare ATX power supply to it, resulting in flexible bench power connections with the ability to replace the power supply and switch without needing to alter the power supply itself. Pretty neat. The enclosure is specifically designed for the following components: Binding Posts Switch USB Adapter Cigarette Lighter Socket ATX Cable You can likely find alternatives that will fit just fine. This prints well on my Printrbot Simple Metal, and it assembles quickly with short self-tapping screws. Note: Be certain to print with overhang supports turned on! My initial attempt at the base failed due to not having this setting turned on, causing the hole for the ATX plug to get distorted.
