This 3D model was originally created using Sketchup 13 and then converted to every other 3D format available. Native format is .skp while the 3dsmax scene is a 2016 version of 3ds Max, rendered with Vray 3.00. These are the walls for the Victorian House upper attic. Instructions: Save this model in a designated folder, open the High-Victorian house file and import these walls into it. It already worked when I tried it - no issues at all. The component axis is placed at the front left corner on the floor template, opposite from what you're seeing. It should easily drop right in place. Make sure to turn off any layers above the attic layer as well as shadows before importing. A neat trick: create an 'attic walls' layer and keep this model on that specific layer. This way, you can stand in the attic, toggle off and on the walls to see how they affect space allocation. The deleted wall ends, floor, and tops have been removed to prevent z-fighting. You can edit this component to add doors, plumbing and any other desired features. Note: a door is listed within the component listings for easy access. This 3D model features a wheat color for its walls - it's also used as paint for matching the attic colors in Sketchup for Dummies.
