Attic folding ladder rope pull handle
thingiverse
I handle for the rope hanging from my folding attic pull-down ladder. My massive hands allow me to scale it accordingly - I'm confident in my grip. My fist width is roughly 90 millimeters, so I rounded up to 100 millimeters for added comfort and peace of mind. The print grain runs counter to the direction of the pull, which adds strength and stability to this essential component. I printed at a 10% scale and it's working flawlessly so far. To ensure safety and durability, I've carefully chamfered any edges that come into contact with the rope, allowing you to use this for decades to come without issues. If you're working with a big, fat rope, you might need an intermediate string to fit through the 5-millimeter holes.
