These attachment layers (ALs) play a crucial role in securing prints to your build plate when using an SLA printer. The Ameralabs article below outlines the benefits of employing attachment layers. https://ameralabs.com/blog/tutorials/attachment-layer-need-know/?fbclid=IwAR3it7w3CuRPVkAJWVnve4oaMUj83q94EC7AXdz5YPIVwuVLncZ68EqTOUA To utilize attachment layers, place your STLs on the print bed in your slicer and then load an attachment layer corresponding to the size of your STL underneath. The attachment layer will be absorbed into your print and break off after curing. Also, place them under supports instead of skates. These attachment layers are 0.2 mm thick, so if you want them thinner, alter the z-height of them in your slicer. Use multiple ALs, copy them, and overlay them for any shape you desire. Keep in mind that if printing without supports, these will give you a flat surface. If you have form or engraving on the bottom, punch holes in the attachment layers.
