Atomrc Penguin Plastic Nose and Plastic Nose for Matek Airspeed Sensor
prusaprinters
This is a model of the atomrc penguin's plastic nose that screws on to the front. You can print one in any color to accent your aircraft, or to replace a broken one. I also include a mod for a matek digital airspeed sensor pitot mount. I include the step files for both should you wish to make your own changes. A solid (step file) model is also provided of the matek digital airspeed pitot sensor. (exact replica).Note regarding airspeed pitot tube installation: You will have to route the top air tube through the foam, either directly through the removable top, or around it by cutting the foam. The easier way is right straight through (and right through the leading edge of the removable cover) but then the cover will remain loosely attached by the tube passing through it, while changing the battery. Not a problem if you leave slop in the tube. The more difficult way would be to cut down into the top of the foam fuse perimeter around the top and down inside the battery compartment. Run the tube through the cut and then seal with foam safe glue. This will require making a smooth enough run as to not kink the tubing. The advantage of this approach it the removable cover can be set aside when changing the battery.
