The Atomium is a renowned monument in Brussels, originally built for the 1958 Brussels World Expo (Expo 58) and situated on the Heysel Plateau, where the exhibition took place. It showcases nine iron atoms in the shape of the body-centred cubic unit cell of an iron crystal, magnified 165 billion times. This is a remix of parametric Atomium design broken down into components for printing and assembly. - 1 central ball with eight holes - 1 bottom ball plus pavilion with four holes (three edge and one diagonal) - Seven external balls with four holes (three edge and one diagonal) - Fourteen edge tubes - Eight diagonal tubes All tubes can be printed at once using a specific file. Supports are provided for central and external balls. A tuned parametric OpenSCAD file is also included, featuring the "parts()" module.
