Atomic Models

Atomic Models

Dalton's atomic models show the tiny building blocks of matter as indivisible spheres, while Thomson proposes a "plum pudding" structure with negatively charged electrons embedded within. Rutherford's model introduces a small, dense nucleus at the center, surrounded by orbiting electrons. The Bohr model refines this concept, adding energy levels to explain electron behavior. Meanwhile, Quantum Mechanics takes a more probabilistic approach, describing atomic behavior through wave functions and probability distributions.
