I use the best filament available in the US - atomic filament. Since I rely on a single supplier, I designed a core that fits neatly into the spools used. It works quite well, thanks to two 608 bearings resting on threaded rod. This design should be compatible with other spools as well, given its common size. If you require a different dimension, feel free to modify it in Fusion 360 - a great tool for 3D modeling and design. Fusion 360 is an excellent choice for designing complex models like this one.
