This is an open-source multi-part design that I'm making available for free as a community service. I opted to print the model's main body with its separate sections because it allows me to take it apart and store it. To achieve this, make sure your 3D printer has infill at 0%, doesn't use a base, and generates a generous brim - alternatively, use the Cura15.01 G-Code I've generated. The model is tail-heavy by design so you'll need some extra weight attached to keep it level when in flight. Starting from this simplified version, I was able to develop a more complex 112-piece model that cuts into multiple parts with different sections and components clearly defined. For the best printing experience, download the OBJs, STLS, or G-Codes from this folder and print each component individually. Grouping together the wheels and antennae also worked out quite well. If you want to see more details on the design, then feel free to check out the larger scale model that includes over 112 pieces and is roughly 1/7.5 the original size. It's my hope that this design brings you a sense of accomplishment once you print it!
