Atom Mesh (or Flower Mesh, whatever you prefer!)

The main concept was to develop a mesh that is printed "at once" (without any post-print connections), without any fabric in between, and with excellent malleability. I have finally achieved two different connections between the links that will display more malleability or more structure, using the same link design. I also wanted to create a visually appealing aspect (for my own satisfaction). I feel extremely happy with the outcome. It has a shape reminiscent of an atom or flower (in others' opinions) which is quite pleasing. The design process is illustrated below. The modifications and final shape were tested and sampled in the pictures/videos provided here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The versions of the design are presented as follows: - The link alone - 1-2 assemblies that I created. I assume that you can create your own patterns by simply adding more links to the assemblies I make available.
