Atmel SAMA5D3 Xplained case
thingiverse
I needed a straightforward solution to prevent my Xplained board from slipping off the table. Here's what I came up with. I've included the scad file for anyone interested in customizing it. I won't claim it looks impressive; this is actually my first time using OpenSCAD. Note that this case likely lacks sufficient space to accommodate an Arduino shield. A simple remake with a cutout for that could be accomplished, but I'll leave that as a challenge for the reader. Also, be cautious when placing the board inside, as the micro USB port can easily get damaged if the ethernet end is inserted first – yes, it's happened to me too. As for the project, consider this just a starting point; further updates are unlikely from my end since I've got all the prints I need and am satisfied with its performance.
