Atmel ICE programmer enclosure

Atmel ICE programmer enclosure

This is another Atmel ICE enclosure design that will accommodate the Atmel ICE PCBA assembly which requires only four flat head countersunk screws (M2x10) and some adhesive to fully assemble. I give credit to "JRodrigo" where much of the inspiration for doing this came from - be sure and check out his version. Thanks, dude! All measurements were taken from a real Atmel Ice programmer. Yes, I purchased one just to do the measurements. Some simplifications and added features like filling in between the pin headers and adding a top graphic depicting the product name "ICE" (I don't know why Atmel/Microchip would not have included something like this, but whatever...) and a solid inside top part so it can be printed with graphic details up hence not requiring any additional/wasted supporting material on the inside to break away after printing is complete. Also, holes for indicator openings were made rectangular similar in size and shape to smd LEDs on the PCB, then chamfered top and bottom for easy viewing. This version (v2) also has a pocket relief for pin header connectors on the back side of the PCB.
