The launch attachment bracket for ULA's Atlas V rocket is a two-part design, crafted from lightweight Ultem 9085 material. Weighing just 0.05 lbs (23.1 g), the bracket occupies a volume of 1.05 cu.in (17.25 cm3). It can withstand a maximal stress of 4,102 psi and boasts a minimum factor of safety (F.O.S.) of 1.1. The design fits within the specified envelope and is designed for easy 3D printing without support material. Installation can be facilitated by using standard socket head screws.
