In "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," a new and formidable foe emerges, one who is tasked with holding off an alien invasion on Mars in the year 2087 - Atlas, also known as Jackiris. A private military contractor for various governments around the globe, he takes his role very seriously indeed, having lost his arm and hand to an injury he sustained in a previous war, replacing it with cutting-edge bionic technology that enables him to use incredible strength at will. His new prosthetic is far more than just a useful tool; it's also equipped with sharp claws made of durable, lightweight metal alloys which allow him to grasp any type of surface no matter how slippery. This allows him and other warriors fighting on his side to easily traverse environments otherwise impossible to navigate such as mountains and rooftops.
