Atlas Scientific Dual Probe Holder Arm - Modified
thingiverse
We are thrilled to discover this probe holder available from Atlas Scientific, as we've had a great experience with their products in the past. We opted for the remix version of the probe holder, which can be used on its own either on a glass or Becker surface. However, we found that the original design's suggested approach of inserting bolts tightly didn't quite work out for us, likely due to our printer settings. Instead, we printed 12mm bolt-nuts and washers, which turned out to have a perfect fit with our Prusa i3's 12.2mm thread diameter. The files should be already the right size, so no adjustments are needed in that regard. We're always happy to hear from fellow makers and see how they've adapted this design for their own needs. Here are our print settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: For best results, use ABS juice on the base of the probe holder. This is a large piece that requires a significant amount of printing time (approximately 10 hours).
