Atlas Mechwarrior battlemech
thingiverse
I've spent countless hours making the Atlas files available on Thingiverse significantly more printer-friendly. All of these files are now fully download and print ready, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Designed to be printed and then super-glued together into position, these models have undergone a thorough transformation. Previously, the arms and legs were composed of numerous small parts that didn't touch, while the torso was plagued by geometric errors, making assembly extremely complicated. I've rectified this issue to a considerable extent, allowing users to print each part without modification and simply glue them together in their preferred pose. Note that the "bit1" and "bit2" components attach to the bottom of the torso and are provided as separate files to facilitate printing the torso at a reduced height, starting from a flat surface. This approach can save plastic and time. I successfully printed each part at 75% scale, resulting in a 7.5-inch tall battlemech. Repetier host 2.0.5 sliced each of these files without encountering any errors. All model credits go to the MWO owners: https://mwomercs.com/. I claim no ownership of the model geometry; my goal is simply to make it easier for others to print with minimal effort required. Be sure to check out http://battletechgame.com/ as well.
