Atlas/Craftsman 12-inch lathe parts. My one-piece saddle features a 10d-9 cast at its bottom, making it extremely difficult to find. I possess two of these lathes; one suffered significant damage in a building fire, so I will add extra components as I discover what else is required for both repair jobs. Unless otherwise noted, all parts are designed to be used universally, with 40% gyroid infill and 1.2mm walls. This allows PLA prints to be strong enough for direct use without needing an additional aluminum cast. Traverse gearbox: attaches a 24-tooth gear to a 12-tooth gear for the hand crank to move the lathe bed's saddle up and down. I apparently overlooked a picture after installing the gears, which I will upload when I disassemble the lathe again. Half Nut holder: enables you to attach a power drive for threading. Specifically designed for use with these 5/8-inch half-nuts: www.thingiverse.com/thing:2783676. Atlas Steadyrest or Steady Rest, crafted exclusively for aluminum casting. It features dimples to facilitate drilling and tapping bolt locations. Designed to utilize the 'most common' 9-, 10- or 12-inch fingers with bearings available on eBay, or create your own matching OEM specs: 3/8 inches x 7/16 inches in length, with at least 2-5/16 inches, using 1/2 inch diameter shielded bearings. Alternatively, use brass and lubricate it vigorously. You will need longer fingers for safely handling smaller parts less than one inch in diameter. The upper/lower components are designed to be printed on a 200x200mm bed, either simultaneously with rotation or as separate prints. I have yet to figure out a locking base solution, aside from using my locking base from the tailstock with a shortened 3/8-inch bolt and a large washer to prevent it from pulling through the 1/2 inch hole.
