Pollen from an Atlas Cedar (Cedrus atlantica) originates from Pinaceae family.\nLike pine pollen, cedar pollen is equipped with two air sacs that enable it to travel freely between trees.\nA technical description of Cedrus atlantica pollen, sourced from PalDat (Halbritter, 2016): large heteropolar monads, bisaccate and oblate in shape, elliptical in polar view, featuring a smooth leptoma and verrucate, fossulate and perforated exine.\nThis model is an integral part of the 3D Pollen Project.
