Atlas AS7-W - Warlord for Battletech

In the shadowed corridors of history, where the mightiest of machines dictate the balance of power, the Atlas AS7-W "Warlord" stands as a colossus among giants. Born from the fires of relentless innovation and the strategic needs of a desperate time, the Warlord variant of the venerable Atlas mech emerged as a harbinger of destruction for those who faced it. Forged by an elite cadre of engineers at the zenith of the Star League's technological renaissance, the Warlord was a testament to the enduring legacy of human ingenuity in the art of war. At its core, the Warlord was powered by a formidable Standard Engine 360, augmented with additional heat sinks to manage the fury of battle. Its weaponry was a carefully chosen arsenal designed to maximize lethality at close quarters: dual LBX20 Autocannons, one housed in each torso, provided a devastating barrage capable of shredding armor and flesh alike, while the mech's limbs bristled with Small Lasers for precision strikes against vulnerable targets. This lethal combination ensured that the Warlord could engage multiple foes simultaneously, its cannons laying waste to heavily armored adversaries as its lasers picked off faster, more elusive targets. The Warlord's creation was not merely an evolution of firepower; it was a symbol of the resolve to maintain dominance in an era where the tides of war could shift with a single battle. Commanders who piloted this titan on the battlefield were not merely soldiers; they were arbiters of fate, deciding the outcomes of conflicts with each pull of the trigger. The AS7-W Warlord, with its unmatched balance of firepower, armor, and mobility, became the stuff of legend, a mechanized nightmare for its foes and a towering beacon of strength for its allies. ===NOTE!=== Infinite Frontiers has began playtesting! If you'd like to help test a new tabletop game that seamlessly transforms from Tabletop Wargame to Tabletop Roleplaying Game to Tabletop Solo/Co-Op Adventure Game, check out the discord! https://discord.gg/3akKEnChH6 https://www.infinitefrontiers.games ========== I'm just a humble doodler that occasionally makes cool stuff, and makes other cool stuff look just a little bit better. These Battletech models are based heavily on the Mechwarrior Online mechs. However, the vast majority of ripped files from MWO are not optimal for printing, and while many other modelers are content with stitching these files together to make something workable, I decided to take it a step further. Instead of just giving you a re-hashed MWO file, I created an entirely new model that is optimized for printing at Battletech Scale. Parts are thicker, manifolds are closed, and there is only a single shell. These mechs that I'm posting have been tested thoroughly, but there may be some minor issues. On the flip side, if you like a little bit of adventure, the beta files are available for free to the public on my Patreon.
