Atlas 618 Lathe Way Wipers

This is a set of way wipers to keep chips out from under the carriage and the ways oiled. I used 2 mm felt with adhesive backing to keep the felt in place during install. No modifications to the lathe are required and the only fastener used is a 3.5" 1/4 20 bolt with a nylock nut. You may need to drill out the hole where the bolt goes, and don't be afraid to sand it to fit your carriage. Prints well with no support on its back, I recommend petg or pla for oil resistance and ease of printing. Many thanks to the You Tube machinists that inspired this (Mr. Pete, and jster1963.)
