The Qualle battery (Ro 516) comprises at least 8 bunkers, with 5 visible here. The 3 largest ones, including an unfinished one partially built on the beach, are type 669SK with double doors, each housing a 7.5cm FK236(b) gun. Two platforms for FK236 guns remain intact and can be seen on either side of the 669SK blockhouse. A destroyed Tobruk-style blockhouse lies on the beach.
