Now available here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/8798-at-homey-replacement-housing Since many Homey owners are looking into modifying their Homey, I could wait no longer and decided to try it myself. However, I don't like drilling holes in the original housing. This is still a work in progress as my antennas have yet to arrive, but I'm planning to add at least 2 antennas. I'll probably make versions with 1, 2, 3, and 4 holes for antennas. It will fit both the Homey and the new Homey Pro, although you won't be using the screw holes in the top. In the picture, you see an original Homey, a Clone Homey, and a Homey Pro next to each other. I think printing it in PETG or ABS might solve the translucency. Of course, you could also print with 100% infill, in a dark color, or paint the inside. What's Included? - Homey Bottom with feet. - Homey Bottom with separate feet, usable in Multi Material setups (or print without feet). - Homey Ring. - Homey Top with NFC. - Homey Top without NFC (for the Pro). What's Next? - Add holes for antennas (for now, you can drill your own). - Add support for a backup battery with a power-switch. - Maybe make a fun version for a raspberry pi :P (Domoticz homey clone?). No need to add support to the whole dome! It will print just fine with selective supports.
