Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 Parallax Wheel
thingiverse
I designed this wheel to be removable for placing my gun in a hardcase but you could also glue the 3 pcs together. Print the tapered turret cap and ring check to make sure they have a nice fit and sand if necessary. Then you super glue or epoxy the taper ring into the parallax wheel. NOTE: pay attention to the direction of the taper so you don't glue it in backwards. The turret cap should snap on to your scopes side focus turret nice and tight. It's not really meant to be pulled on and off over and over. You can see inside the tapered turret cap it has raised tabs that help it to grip the scope turret these will start to lose there tight grip and round over if over used. The magnet pockets are designed to glue in 12mm by 3mm Neodymium disc magnets. The Parallax wheel is designed with a 38mm bore. I hope this makes it easy for people to design there own wheels if they choose and then just glue in the taper ring and magnet. I may add a few different wheels designs in the future. I looked through the Athlon scope line up and it looks like the Midas Tac 6-24x50 is the only scope this wheel will work on. Printed on Ender S1 Hatch box Matte black PLA @ 195°c. No supports needed. I printed all pieces solid. PLA has worked fine for me but if your scope is going to be out in direct sunlight you may want to go with something stronger.
