The Parthenon in Athens, Greece is a challenging 3D print due to its intricate design. The original model had one major flaw: the supports required for the roof would have been trapped inside the columns, making it impossible to print. To overcome this obstacle, I used Meshmixer to split the model at the roof line, effectively eliminating the need for roof supports altogether. Next, I'll be adding the inner columns and chamber that once housed the golden statue of Athena, a pivotal element in Greek mythology.
