Athenais, Daughter of Herodes Atticus, is a remarkable cast sculpture made from plaster of Paris. The format is that of a head, offering a captivating glimpse into the past. It is on loan to the Skulpturhalle in Basel, and its museum inventory number is 1551. Originally housed at the Antikensammlung und Sammlung Ludwig in Basel, identified as BS 297, Athenais has been carefully photographed by Davide Angheleddu for Flyover Zone Productions.
