cults3d
A bronze figurine circa 300-270 BCE showcases the goddess of war and wisdom, discovered in 1541 within an early imperial era residence's well in Arezzo. Measuring with a Creaform Go!SCAN 3D scanner, this ancient relic was acquired by Cosimo I de' Medici in 1551 for his collection of antiquities. By 1559, the statue found its place on the duke's writing desk. This rare Hellenistic version of Praxiteles' school is estimated to have been crafted between 340-330 BCE, with at least twenty-five copies surviving to this day.
