This kit will allow you to remotor an Athearn F7/9 using affordable Mini 130 double shaft motors (often yellow). The 5400RPM 1.5-12V models work best with the 2mm shaft diameter. This bracket is designed to accommodate a cell phone speaker, a 2x3 capacitor keep alive, and a SoundTraxx PNP decoder. I advise printing the brackets on their sides to give the screw holes more tear strength.
