ATAT - for Casual X-Wing Gaming
thingiverse
Need an AT-AT target for your U-Wing? This low-res model of an ATAT is designed specifically for the X-Wing miniatures game. It prints easily in six parts: Head, Body, and four legs that snap together seamlessly. If you encounter any issues with leg snaps, please refer to the notes posted online. The legs require minimal support, while printing the body upside down results in effortless support cleanup - a major improvement over high-res models prone to broken legs during this process. The legs are based on timrbsnow's excellent 1069981 model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1069981), which features snap ends and no supports. The body and head were adapted from Kolo33's impressive high-res version, 215574 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:215574), and then simplified for the scale with snap ends added. The leg snaps were inspired by danzca6's Lego clone trooper arm snaps, 1144345 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1144345). I also designed a custom neck snap. While the body could benefit from further simplification for the intended scale, this model offers an easy-to-print and stable ATAT target that meets your X-Wing game needs. It was printed on the M3D Micro with impressive results.
