This upgrade dramatically enhances the rigidity of the arm/frame attachment, safeguarding the frame during crashes. In a collision with an arm, it's surprisingly easy to strip the nylon standoff thread, causing the battery or bottom deck to bend and leading to damage. The aluminum standoff delivers an exceptionally effective mechanical seal in impact scenarios, where the weak point is limited to just the arm itself. To ensure this upgrade works properly, you must install a central M3x8 nylon hex standoff. The holder accommodates two M3x8 hex aluminum standoffs for easy 5mm wrench installation - look up item number 24432K-ND on Digi-Key for details. Furthermore, the holder offers an excellent opportunity to secure a KISS factory form ESC, like the DYS SN20A, in a highly convenient location. You can opt to use or bypass the ESC cover as you see fit.
