Atari STF drive bay blanking cover. Early rhombus style drive
thingiverse
This is a sleek and stylish way to cover up an empty drive bay on an Atari STF/m.\r\n\r\nFor example, you can use this to fit a modern floppy without having to cut into the case - simply swap to an external drive instead; or install an internal hard disk, or both.\r\n\r\nInstructions are straightforward: just print it out and fit it. The design should be tight enough that it doesn't need any extra securing. Ignore the screw holes for now, as they're only there because I plan to build a direct-fit hard disk cradle for the STF once I get the parts to build the HDD interface.\r\n\r\nI'll call this done for now, although there may be some minor tweaks over time as I fine-tune the geometry to get it fitting perfectly.
