Atari ST Disk Drive Support Elevation Ring

thingiverse

An adjustable support ring that can be used to elevate an existing disk drive bay. This is particularly useful when upgrading the drive of a vintage ST that originally came with a higher drive, and you're replacing it with a lower one. The earlier ST models were manufactured with taller drives, easily identified by their longer eject button located in the center of the front panel. In contrast, the newer STs have shorter drives with narrower eject buttons situated to the right side of the front.
