Atari Generation 1 Flipperbat
thingiverse
Flipperbat for the first Generation 1 Atari pinball games with Ledex flipper motors installed. These were installed in The Atarians, Time 2000 and Airborne Aver. After these games Atari went for more traditional mechanics. The flipper is attached at te topside of the playfield to the shaft of the Ledex motor. Use 2 M5 8mm grubscrews to secure the bat to the shaft. In order to obtain strength I set the slicer to use 8 perimeters and 5-6 top/bottomlayers at a layer height of 0.2mm. For infill I used gyroid at 20-30%. I experimented with just PLA and PETG which held out but ABS/ASA/PC will be a better choice in terms of temperature stability. The bat has a very tight fit to the shaft of the ledexmotor and you might need to remove some "pittings" from the shaft. You also might need to adjust the slicer to cover the shrinkage of the used material. I printed the bat at 100.2% for PLA and 100.4% for PETG. Print the bat upside down.
