Atari CX40 Joystick Ball
thingiverse
This print boasts a hexagonal hole at its base, crafted to perfectly fit atop the Atari CX40 OEM joystick. My initial print of this model snugly rested on the joystick, a result that was both fortunate and unfortunate. I suspect that lowering the infill from 20% to 15% or even 10% would yield improved results, but confirmation remains elusive. This revised version features a slightly larger hole for the joystick, which may result in a looser fit - although this outcome is far from certain. Additionally, the joystick hole has been deepened to allow the ball to sit more comfortably on the stick. Please share your thoughts on whether these modifications meet with your expectations. Regarding ball size, I'd appreciate any opinions you may have on the matter. It's highly recommended that this print be created using a flexible material like TPU, which proved successful for me in my own experience.
