Atari 7800 Stand
thingiverse
I created this solution to enable the mess of wires from my Commodore 64 to pass underneath the console and reclaim some desk space. This design also serves as a useful fix if you have a controller adapter for the 7800 that sticks down too far and bumps into your table. Print the top and bottom pieces without modifications. Scale four legs at 99% to ensure accuracy. Use gentle force to push the entire assembly together. Then, attach the stand to the bottom of the console using its built-in wire guides with four medium-sized zip ties (refer to images for guidance). Ensure that you apply equal tension to each zip tie or the stand will not be centered. The resulting stand is sturdy and allows you to insert a cartridge gently without everything falling over or breaking, although I still recommend holding onto the console when inserting a cart.
