Atari 2600 Paddle Controller Replacement Wheel
thingiverse
I modified jtritell's STL for the Atari 2600 Paddle Controller Replacement Wheel to create a smoother design. The original mesh count was too low on the rounded surfaces, so I increased it to achieve a more polished look. Additionally, I adjusted the size of the half-circle hole where the controller knob is inserted. Initially, this hole was too large in the original file, which may have been sufficient if you still had the metal spring clip attached to your controller. However, without this clip (like me), the hole was too big and didn't provide a good friction fit for the knob. To address this issue, I reduced the size of the hole. In contrast to the original design, my modified wheel features flat edges on the ribs at the top instead of chamfered ones. This change improves printability. If you prefer a chamfered edge file, simply send me a message and I'll create an alternative model option with this feature included.
