"Why don't you just_____," "You could have just_______" or "This is not how I'd do it!" For this, I profusely apologize for your inconvenience. PREPARE: I noticed that some people have a tendency to have the holes for the RCA jacks all crooked and messed up. This is not good for resale value (nor OCD). So, I created this jig to drill the RCA jack holes straight on the back of my Atari system for an AV mod project. I have no clue if this jig works on other console models. MARK IT & DRILL: Simply hold the jig in place (as the photos show) and use a fine-point sharpie in each of the holes with to mark a simple dot. Remove the jig. You are now ready to drill a 1/8" pilot hole on each dot. Follow through with a 1/4" bit. Voilà! Three perfectly centered holes for the RCA jacks! NOTE: you'll see washers on the RCA jacks in this photo. This is NOT necessary but I did it to make it more solid against the plastic. ------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, since we live in a litigious society that prescribes warning labels on shampoo bottles, use of plastic bags and bubblegum, I am TOTALLY EXEMPT from liability if you drill through your fingers, destroy or use it on a different system. I also think I'm funny.
