The AT traction engine is a unique vehicle inspired by the 1902 Ivel Agricultural Motors Ltd traction engine. Powered by two AC-electric engines, this innovative design allows for superior maneuverability and control using two motors per track. The driver operates the engine with two levers, while batteries placed centrally provide on-demand power until reaching the agricultural field. Once at the field, the batteries are removed and connected to an AC-power source from the mains grid for continuous operation. A front-mounted camera assists the driver in maintaining proper track alignment, with a screen positioned low for easy visibility. While the vehicle boasts an autopilot feature that counts wheel revolutions for distance calculation, manual setup is still required for optimal performance.
