The latest addition to my Star Wars 3D sheet metal models is a meticulously crafted AT-AT walker (also known as the Imperial Walker; http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/All_Terrain_Armored_Transport), measuring an impressive 22" in height and 30" in length. Constructing this model was a challenging yet enjoyable experience due to its posable features, including three independently rotatable joints and pendulum-swing feet. To assemble the walker, you'll need round head 1/4-20 x 0.50" screws with nuts, while CA glue or Loctite adhesive will also come in handy. For a secure fit, I'm considering using rivnuts with slim knurl handles to tighten the joints in place. Any suggestions or ideas are more than welcome! Creating this model has made me realize that I need additional shelves for storage. As always, I used 0.060" 304 stainless steel for fabrication, featuring tab and slot assembly design. Please feel free to share your thoughts and appreciation through renderings or likes.
