This is the second in a series of lamp shades crafted for Ikea table lamp bases, utilizing type "G" LED light bulbs. A sample was printed by a Flashforge Creator X at 230C using economy natural ABS from Matter Hackers. I aimed for extremely thin surfaces, just 1.5mm thick, but encountered warping issues. To test the effects of increased thickness, I printed another sample at 2mm, but found that light transmission was not as effective as this one made with 1.5mm walls. On a future attempt, I plan to print on a hot day with my printer's top lid completely sealed to see if warping persists. Your input is greatly appreciated.
