I wanted to be able to mount my router to the ceiling so that it was still giving good access and it was out of the way. This should provide an easy way to mount on ceiling. It fits very well and after mounting it I have zero concerns of it slipping out from vibrations from the house. Also I designed it to have opening near top for the router to still ventilate and with a lot of access around it's shell to allow for communications/radio to not be blocked.
