Asus TAICHI 31 Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
It's a high-quality, low-poly 3D model of the Asus TAICHI 31 Ultrabook used in various fields such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, and visualization. The modeling process involved using ortho-photos of the real notebook to recreate all details of the design with the highest authenticity. This model is easy to use because it consists of only two meshes, making it a low-polygonal object that saves system resources. It has just one material, which simplifies the rendering process. Regardless of the renderer used, this model will always look realistic due to its high-resolution photo-textures. The clever topology design allows for minimal polygons while achieving maximum quality, even in close-up views. The model uses a single material with a photo-texture applied using the diffusion method. Additional textures include Specular, Glossiness, Bump, and Emission to enhance realism, particularly on luminous elements such as screens and indicators. For better Bump depth, a Bump Multiplier of 0.2 is set in Maya Software materials or V-Ray MTL materials for Maya. This setup allows for various reflective and dispersing capacities across different areas of the model, giving it a more materialistic effect without the need for multiple materials. There are five main textures, all with a resolution of 4096 pixels per square inch in .png format. Additionally, the original texture files in .PSD format are included in the archive. The display opening and closing are animated through a simple rotation of the display mesh. The model was created using Maya 2009 and has correct dimensions in real-world scale, measured in centimeters. All parts are correctly grouped and named for easy navigation and editing. An adjusted render-scene is provided, created in Maya 2014 with V-Ray 2.40. This scene can be opened in earlier versions of Maya up to 2012 using V-Ray 2.0, thanks to its .ma format. The scene includes six V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors and assigns the V-Ray MTL material to the model. Timeline keys are set for model positions and render camera views with preview images included. Users can remove these keys if not needed by deleting animation keys from translation and rotation channels. For use in other 3D programs, scenes are saved in .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version) formats. Note that this is a low-poly model and should not be used with any smoothing modifiers.
