ASUS RT-AC88U Cooler

This is a simple cooler designed specifically for the ASUS RT-AC88U Router. They can run rather hot, so I created this using an old blower fan I had on hand (Harvested from discarded equipment). After trying a few different versions, this one works well and does its job efficiently. It likely succeeds because it fits snugly over the router's top vent and maintains a consistent airflow through the device without being overly loud. I used the Delta BFB0512m fan design found on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2078835 to create this cooler. During testing, I observed that it brought my CPU down from 80C to 58C in approximately 40 minutes in a warm room. In another test, I let it operate in a cool room (86F) for several hours and found that the CPU temperature consistently stayed about 20C below ambient conditions.
