This is a simple cooler for the ASUS RT-AC88U Router. They are known to run a bit warm, so I made this using a spare blower fan I have a bunch of laying around (Harvested from equipment.) I tried a few variations, this one is simple and does a good job. I think part of the reason is it fits the top vent of the router closely and keeps a good draft through the unit without being obnoxiously loud. Designed using the Delta BFB0512m fan model from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2078835. In testing, this took my CPU from 80C to 58C in about 40 minutes in a warm room. In a second test, I let it soak in a 30C room (86F) most of the day and CPU reached 61C (146F), consistently keeps the CPU about 20C under ambient. I think it would also fit the RT-AC3100, but DO NOT KNOW THIS FOR A FACT. If someone wants to try and let me know, that'd be awesome. :)
