The Asus RT-AC5300 is a powerful router that demands a sturdy mounting solution, unfortunately lacking on-board wall or ceiling attachment options. Its complex shape makes creating printable mounts more challenging than usual. To encourage enthusiasts to design custom mounts, I focused on crafting an extremely accurate 3D model of the router's base. This precise model was created using Solidworks' assembly mode to carve out a cavity in a block, resulting in a seamless fit when printed.
