I required a solution to relocate my router from my daughter's closet shelf, and the ASUS RT-AC88U wasn't designed for wall mounting. This straightforward mount allows for effortless tool-free removal without obstructing any ports on the back or front. Additionally, it doesn't block the WiFi buttons on the front or restrict airflow around the unit for optimal cooling. There are two printable components: a bottom piece that attaches to the wall and should be printed sideways, featuring two holes for screw mounting. Unless your printer has severe bridging issues, you won't need supports. The top piece is designed with forks facing upwards; again, no supports are required. Once the bottom piece is securely attached to the wall, simply position the router with its back facing up and slide the top piece onto it. To remove the router, just take off the top piece, and it will be free to be relocated. My printed pieces have a two-color finish since I ran out of black filament during the print process. This test proved my filament sensor on the Mk3 worked flawlessly.
