ASUS (ROG) Gaming Laptop Power Supply Enclosure

This power supply enclosure serves as a substitute for the standard one found on many high-powered ASUS laptops. It replaces the cover of my Zephyrus GM501GM's power supply, which needed attention due to the non-replaceable cable that accompanied it. As the original cable wore out and began sparking, I had to replace it promptly to avoid any potential safety hazards. During the process, I was forced to dismantle the original case, so I relied on my printer for help. To seal the new enclosure shut, I applied a small amount of super glue after pressing the lid into place, ensuring some space remained in the alignment grooves to prevent excessive oozing. A hole at the end of the enclosure allows for the laptop's cable to exit, where the old strain relief can be detached; however, I omitted this feature on my version since I found it too late to incorporate it once the glue was applied. Hopefully, this alternative power supply enclosure will prove helpful to someone in need.
