UPDATED: I redesigned the grips to be more ergonomic and to better compliment the design of the device! They provide larger grips in back and allow the Ally to stand on it's own without a kickstand. You might want to shave or sand the edges of the bottom after printing so the edge doesn't dig into your hand. I like to use a deburring tool for that sort of thing. Also, it prints perfectly without supports. These really only need one mounting square on the flat rear part of the grip for a super sturdy hold. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLD: The ROG Ally ergonomics are better than most handheld PCs, but for the XL humans, it's still a little cramped. When playing Street Fighter 6, for instance, I kept hitting the modifier keys. Or when playing Sons of the Forest on Turbo mode, I found the exhaust vents were slowly roasting my index fingers because they stretched over the shoulder buttons. These grips help a lot, and they just make everything more comfy. Thanks to DarkK3Y for providing this very nice scan of the Ally which I used for the fit. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6085687 This file should print well on just about any machine, at any layer height. I printed mine at .08mm layer height on my Bambu and they practically feel injection molded. To adhere them to the side, I'm using Gorilla Mounting Tape Squares. One square per grip works well. I cut a square in half, and put a half on the area that covers the front plate, and one half at the base of the grip. Holds very well! https://a.co/d/czaTx2o
