Asus ROG 120mm fan grill with logo
thingiverse
This is my debut uploaded project. A fan grill for my computer case showcases my growing skills with SolidWorks, which has been a highly rewarding learning experience. Printing this design was relatively straightforward since each component is distinct and doesn't require any support material. To add some personality to the logo, I simply flipped it upside down, achieving a quirky effect that adds visual interest. The metal look was a key element of this project, so I applied a zinc spray paint to give the logo a metallic sheen. A small amount of red acrylic spray was then used to tint the "G" portion, creating a subtle yet striking contrast. To minimize print imperfections on the grill itself, I sprayed it three times. The holes were precision-cut with the same diameter as the pins, but after applying the paint, I had to trim some material from the edges to ensure a snug fit within my computer case. I'm thrilled to share this project with you all and hope you'll appreciate its unique design. If anyone is interested, I can provide access to the original files, including sketches in CorelDraw and SolidWorks.
